Saturday Nov. 8 Candlelight Charm - the event that opens the Christmas Holiday Season in Council Grove.  Luminaries light your way along the Historic Main Street Shopping District where you'll be greeted by Charles Dickens'-dressed characters.  In-store drawings, giveaways, holiday food treats.  Ride horse-drawn trolley. Stores open 6 - 9 p.m.
Saturday Nov. 29 Christmas Parade - 10 o'clock in the morning.  Welcome Santa to town

A Kaw Mission Christmas - experience a festive evening in the historic ambience of the Kaw Mission as settlers would have done 150 years ago.
Sat. 8th Holiday Bake-Off - prepare your best holiday goodies to be judged and awarded prizes.  Open to participants of all ages.
Sat. 8th & 15th Santa will be in his cottage at the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism office from 1:00 - 3:00
Sun. 9th & 16th Santa will be on the streets and visiting the many shops and stores from 1:00 to 3:00
Sat. 15th Council Grove Merchants will be offering Stocking Stuffer Specials all day.
Sat. 22nd Mrs. Claus' Sidewalk Bake Sales featuring baked goods from area civic organizations.
