The MCH Auxiliary will once again host this year's "Saving Lives One Pint at a Time" CBC Blood Drive, to be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, August 12th, at the CG Christian Church. As always, appointments are preferred, but walk ins are welcome.

About the event
The MCH Auxiliary will once again host this year's "Saving Lives One Pint at a Time" CBC Blood Drive, to be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, August 12th, at the CG Christian Church. As always, appointments are preferred, but walk ins are welcome.
As you know, the Community Blood Center-KC is the primary provider of blood and blood components to the 70+ hospitals and medical centers in the Kansas City region. This summer, the blood shortage has worsened to full-on emergency status (declared yesterday, July 15th). This is a HUGE PROBLEM!
So, to provide a cool incentive for blood donors, the CBC-KC will be giving coupons for ice cream or a cold drink to all who register at the upcoming August Blood Drive.
