Council Grove is fortunate to have a vibrant Community Arts Council! From events like Sethfest and classes that range from cooking to soap making, the CGAC keeps the arts alive in Council Grove! Be sure to check out there new in 2023 website for all of their terrific arts programming.

THE NEOSHO RIVERWALK AMPHITHEATER 

The Neosho Riverwalk Amphitheater is a newly renovated venue that is an ideal setting for concerts, special occasions, or any other event you can dream up! The amphitheater is a city-operated venue with ADA accessibility and limestone seating for over 1,100. 

The park sits next to the Neosho River, with walking trails connecting to the Flint Hills Trail State Park. There is also a large playground area, a picnic shelter, and several picnic tables throughout. 

 

We invite you to come out and make memories in Council Grove. The Neosho Riverwalk Amphitheater is available for rent for public and private events.

Council grove Celebrates the Arts!

Our art culture is vibrant and strong. In the past 4 years, Council Grove has opened up six new event centers, an incubator art gallery and launched the new Council Grove Community Theatre

Be sure to check out our online events calendar for all of the latest happenings. Gallery shows, small venue concerts, plays, art classes, and more are always published there. Our amphitheater and small venues have hosted artists like Cody Johnson, Shane Smith & the Saints, Randall King, Flatland Calvery, Michael Martin Murphy, Dustin Arbuckle & the Damnations, Ragland, Steel Scarecrow, The Box Turtles, Derek Calvin & the All Nighters, and many more!

Symphony in the Flint Hills

Flint Hills leaders founded Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. in 2004 to heighten appreciation and knowledge of the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie. The organization hosted the first of its annual prairie concerts in 2006.
