The “Faith on the Trail”, is a part of the Santa Fe Trail Symposium 2025, which will be held on the original Santa Fe Trail ruts in a pasture owned by Dean and Marilyn  Miller.  It will be easily seen by looking for the big tent between Council Grove and Wilsey about  ½ mile South of the Hwy 56 and 1300 Rd intersection on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 10 am.  It is also sponsored by Wilsey Christian Church. Adams Lumber and Homestore will provide the planks for seating. Port a Potties and water will be available on site.

After parking your vehicle in the pasture, you will ride on one of two wagons on original Santa Fe Trail which are provided, to the tent area.  The Circuit Riding Preacher, Pastor  Clarence Sumner of Wilsey Christian Church, will bring a message appropriate to the time.  There will be music and singing to add to the atmosphere of an impromptu church gathering along the trail in bygone days.

Come, sit a spell on the Santa Fe Trail, listen to a message from the Good Book, and contemplate life in simpler times.
