About the event
Downtown Council Grove is getting dressed up for Christmas, and you're invited to celebrate the start of the holiday season with us!
Candlelight Charm brings the warmth and nostalgia of an old-fashioned small-town Christmas to historic Main Street. Our downtown shops will be glowing with holiday lights, welcoming shoppers with festive displays, special finds, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Visit with Santa and his reindeer at the Dustie Shelf, take a complimentary horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown, courtesy of Thrivent – Flint Hills Group, and enjoy the sounds of Christmas carolers brought to you by the Council Grove Community Arts Council. Visit with local makers and artisans, discover thoughtful gifts in our independently owned shops, and enjoy a little holiday shopping at your own pace.
Make an evening of it! Gather your favorite people, enjoy dinner at one of our local restaurants, sip something warm, and wander through a downtown…
