HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
December 12, 2026
Christmas comes alive in historic downtown Council Grove during Home for the Holidays!
Spend the evening enjoying the glow of holiday lights, exploring our charming local shops, and celebrating the season with family, friends, and neighbors.
Santa Claus will be joining us for the festivities, spreading Christmas cheer throughout the evening before taking his place of honor in the Lighted Christmas Parade at 6:30pm!
The parade is the highlight of the celebration, bringing downtown to life with beautifully decorated floats, twinkling lights, and plenty of hometown Christmas spirit. Find your favorite spot along the route, bundle up with the people you love, and enjoy one of Council Grove's most festive holiday traditions.
With holiday shopping, seasonal sights, and a community ready to celebrate, Home for the Holidays is a wonderful way to make Christmas memories in Council Grove.
